Specialized dentist

If you are thinking ahead, an assessment of your dentist will help determine if you are a good candidate or not, what is the best solution. This assessment includes all medical and dental history in order to obtain the necessary information, such as if you have diabetes, heart problems or any other condition that interfereswith normal healing. Be sure to explain to your dentist about all those medications that vove have allergiesand can not take. If necessary, your dentist may also require making some additional consultations with aGP.
During the dental examination the dentist will examine the general state of his mouth, the bone support of existing teeth and the way your upper jaw is related to the lower jaw. Your dentist may also request some additional information that may be obtained through specialized radiographs. All this information will help the dentist determine whether or not you are a good candidate for implants, what kind of implant can be placed in your mouth and what type of prosthesis will encourage all its aesthetic function.
